T&T Group will build high-tech city with the scale of 1,000 hectares
This is the information revealed by representatives of T&T Group at Asia-Pacific Mobile & Energy High-Tech City Conference (APMEC).
Mr. Do Quang Hien, Chairman Of The Board and General Director has had a speech at the seminar
Asia-Pacific Mobile & Energy High-Tech City (APMEC) is held in Hanoi this morning (October 29). Myriad CEOs and experts from huge corporations all over the world such as Australia, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, and so on have taken part in this seminar.
During the seminar, experts shared their experiences involving the applications of the clean energy, then made specific statements and suggested the trends to build smart cities around the world. Therefore, it helps to clarify the role, the importance, as well as the need of the development and investment into smart cities in Vietnam.
Experts have all agreed that there are many renewable energy sources in the world. However, solar power has been so far identified as the major source of energy in the future. But, in the past few years, with the rapid change in technology, traditional solar cell technologies will be gradually replaced by thin-film solar cell technologies due to lower cost, higher efficiency in light conditions, easy installation, and abundance in types as well as colors.
As regards the policy of developing sustainable, mart and high-tech cities of the Government of Vietnam, experts highly appreciated this scheme and believed that it was a right, fast, and "timely" policy when being set in the context of the rapidly growing 4.0 technology revolution in the world, and Vietnam is certainly no exception.
A specialist from Japan said that "The successful construction of a smart city model will be able to create a breakthrough solution in tackling the current urbanization problem which is going on in Vietnam at the contemporary time. This entails the good management of planning, provision of the most effective technical infrastructure services for urban areas, minimization of adverse impacts on the environment, and most importantly, improvement of the quality of life for local people".
In particular, in this seminar, representatives of T&T Group also revealed that the Group will build the Asia-Pacific mobile & energy high-tech city project in Vietnam with the scale of 1,000 hectares. This project will be divided into three stages. As expected, T&T Group will have a cooperation with Hanergy Group to implement it.
It is widely known that Hanergy Group is a multinational corporation which operates in the field of Clean Energy. Hanergy currently ranks the 23rd position among "50 Smartest Businesses In The World" in 2017 by the MIT Technology Review. This corporation has corporate headquarters in a number of locations, including Europe, the Americas, Africa, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific and other regions.
