The seminar was attended by leaders of the U.S. Embassy in Vietnam, leaders of the Civil Aviation Administration, leaders of Quang Tri province, leaders of T&T Group and 15 leading U.S. enterprises in aviation, technology and financial services. Big names such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Cisco Systems, Collins Aerospace, GE Aerospace, Gensler, BNP Associates, Hill International, KBR, United Airlines, Cisco, Oshkosh AeroTech...

Large-scale investment promotion forum on aviation
The seminar is considered an important forum for stakeholders, including management agencies, airlines and private enterprises on both sides to exchange and seek cooperation opportunities. This is also an opportunity for the US side to showcase its capabilities, experience and advanced aviation solutions in design, operation, safety and digitalization; thereby supporting Vietnam to realize its aspiration to become a leading aviation hub in the region and strengthen bilateral trade relations.
According to Mr. Stephen Green, Commercial Counselor of the U.S. Embassy in Vietnam, strengthening connectivity in air transport is not only important for trade and investment, but also contributes to promoting innovation, safety, security as well as cohesion between the two peoples.

Currently, Vietnam's aviation market is one of the fastest-growing markets in Southeast Asia. Passenger traffic is expected to grow by 8% per year through 2030. Major investments in airport infrastructure and fleet expansion are also being implemented, thereby opening up unprecedented opportunities for cooperation. The master plan for the development of Vietnam's national airport system aims to have 30 airports by 2030 and 33 airports by 2050, supported by advanced technology and policies to encourage public-private cooperation.
In the field of aviation, Vietnam and the United States have made strong developments. Many Vietnamese airlines have signed major agreements with U.S. partners in many fields, from opening direct flights, sharing runways, cargo transportation to aircraft technical services, technology cooperation and training of high-quality human resources.
In particular, at bilateral meetings and contacts, both sides said that there is still a lot of room for aviation cooperation; creating opportunities for deeper cooperation, bringing mutual benefits to both sides. Accordingly, Vietnamese enterprises have access to the most advanced technology, experience and management standards in the world; meanwhile, U.S. businesses have the opportunity to participate in the fastest-growing, most potential and most vibrant aviation market in the region. More importantly, this cooperation will contribute positively to raising the level of bilateral economic and trade relations between Vietnam and the United States.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam Courtney Beale affirmed, "Strengthening aviation partnerships not only promotes economic cooperation, but also leads innovation, raises safety and security standards, and deepens the people-to-people connections that shape the Strategic Partnership Vietnam-US Comprehensive Strategy".
The Deputy Ambassador particularly highly appreciated T&T Group, affirming that T&T Group
"is a typical example of the transformative leadership role of the private sector". Notably, the Group is currently actively building a comprehensive aviation ecosystem, complete with airlines, airports, airport-urban complexes integrating modern aviation infrastructure in the future.
"Vietnam's aviation development master plan encourages the adoption of advanced technology and equipment, in which the participation of the private sector plays a key role. This opens up tremendous opportunities for cooperation, innovation and partnership between Vietnam and the United States," said Ms. Courtney Beale.

On the corporate side, Mr. Do Vinh Quang, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of T&T Group, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietravel Airlines emphasized: "For T&T Group, cooperation with US partners has always been identified as one of the Group's long-term development strategies. Particularly in the aviation sector, we and Vietravel Airlines are pursuing an integrated airline group model, taking technology, international governance and customer experience as the center. We believe that, with the companionship of leading partners from the United States, Vietravel Airlines will not only develop sustainably in Vietnam, but also contribute to making Vietnam an attractive destination, strongly connected to the region and the world", Mr. Do Vinh Quang emphasized.
At the seminar, US "giants" such as Amazon Web Services, Corgan, GE Aerospace ... shared a lot of useful information. Meanwhile, T&T Group also proposes and seeks cooperation opportunities in many fields, from experience in airport operation, development of smart airport models, deployment of flight service facilities, to terminal design and management. These are all areas where U.S. partners have strengths and are also T&T items T Group is interested in and looks forward to extensive cooperation in the future.
T&T Group's aviation vision
It was not until the organization of the Vietnam-US Aviation Cooperation Seminar that T&T Group was mentioned on the domestic aviation "map". In this particular area, T&T's plans don't stop at developing an airline or airport. Businessman Do Quang Hien's group aims to model an integrated aviation group – a model that has been very successful in many countries around the world such as: Singapore Airlines Group, Lufthansa Group (Germany), Qatar Airways and Emirates Group (UAE)...
To implement this strategy, T&T Group has been building solid foundations, ready for the birth of a complete aviation ecosystem in the future. In this ecosystem, T&T Airlines is an enterprise specializing in air services, including air transportation, travel agents, flight operation services, other direct support services and activities.
In terms of hard infrastructure, the most prominent is Quang Tri Airport - a key project in the Central region invested by T&T Group. The project will be started in July 2024 with a scale of 265 hectares, with a total investment of more than VND 5,800 billion. When completed, the port meets the standard of level 4C; capable of developing and operating Code E aircraft; meeting the needs of exploiting up to 5 million passengers and 25,500 tons of goods per year. Recently, Quang Tri province has proposed to allow the port to upgrade to level 4E to expand the capacity to receive wide-body aircraft such as Boeing 777, Airbus A350, serving the goal of international connection and development of the central region of the North Central region. According to the plan, it is expected that the Port will complete phase 1 in 2026.

Not stopping there, T&T is also planning to develop an aviation - logistics - service - trade - airport urban complex with a scale of about 10,800 hectares located in Quang Tri province; including a full range of functional areas for an aviation industry complex such as: aircraft maintenance and maintenance, production and assembly of aircraft spare parts, flight equipment, aircraft production and testing, etc., logistics hub, creative aviation zone, etc. modern service center and airport urban area. If this idea is successfully implemented, this will be the first model of an aviation-airport urban complex in Vietnam.
Firmly on the ground and in the sky, T&T Group continues to show its "big vision" when becoming a strategic shareholder of Vietravel Airlines. In just a short time after this important milestone, Vietravel Airlines has successively welcomed its fleet of aircraft. The airline also actively promotes negotiations with aircraft manufacturers and international airlines to realize its commitment to expand its fleet and flight network. The goal is that by 2030, the size of the aircraft fleet will reach 30-50 aircraft, the flight network covers Southeast Asia, Northeast Asia and the Middle East. It can be said that Vietravel Airlines is an important piece of the puzzle for T&T to complete the aviation ecosystem, towards building an airline group according to international models.

In particular, T&T Group's investment in the aviation sector has always received trust and support from the Government, localities as well as industry management agencies. This is a clear demonstration of the position of a typical and pioneering enterprise of the private economic sector in the field of aviation. Not only actively participating in PPP projects and investing in national key infrastructure projects, T&T Group also actively develops the logistics – aviation – supporting industry – smart city ecosystem, gradually building a synchronous linked value chain. These steps not only require strong financial potential, but more importantly, also clearly demonstrate the long-term vision and national mindset of businessman Do Quang Hien and T&T Group and their commitment to sustainable development – in line with the spirit of the Party and Government that are expected in the private sector.
In fact, for many years, T&T Group and its member companies in the ecosystem have been constantly expanding cooperation with leading U.S. strategic partners. In the aviation sector, in February 2025, T&T Group had a meeting and worked with aircraft manufacturer Boeing. At the event, Boeing expressed its interest and agreed in principle for T&T to become its strategic partner in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
Previously, in September 2021, T&T Group signed a series of contracts and memorandums of understanding with US partners in the fields of renewable energy, agricultural product procurement, and exclusive distribution of famous functional food brands.
Not only commercially, T&T Group also has a direct presence in the United States through T&T America. To date, T&T America has implemented many value investment activities, typically real estate projects in Huntington Beach and Brookhurst, California. This business is also continuing to study and expand the scale of investment in Huntington Beach, with plans to add large investments in the near future.
These strategic investments not only contribute to the expansion of global value chains but also promote direct investment (FDI) inflows from the United States into Vietnam and increase the consumption of related products and services, thereby contributing to improving the bilateral trade balance.
