Developed with a cohesive concept, Little Hong Kong aspires to become one of the first large-scale, international-style commercial and entertainment complexes in the southern part of Ho Chi Minh City. The entire neighborhood is designed as a continuous experiential journey, where food, shopping, street art, and cultural activities blend together to maintain a vibrant atmosphere from day to night.
Besides revitalizing T&T City Millennia, this model also aims to become a new meeting point for residents in the southern area of Ho Chi Minh City and tourists, contributing to the promotion of commercial and service activities, the night economy, and increasing the attractiveness of the entire area.
As the developer, manager, and operator of commercial real estate within the T&T Group ecosystem, T&T Retail is tasked with developing commercial and service models to enhance the vitality of urban areas. Meanwhile, Cao Nguyen Thinh Vuong Joint Stock Company is an experienced enterprise in building and operating large-scale commercial, entertainment, and F&B models. The combination of T&T Retail's commercial real estate development capabilities and Cao Nguyen Thinh Vuong's operational experience is expected to create a foundation for Little Hong Kong to be invested in and operated systematically from the outset.
According to the agreement, the two parties will cooperate in developing Little Hong Kong on Thai Son 3 Street within the T&T City Millennia mega-urban area. The unique aspect of Little Hong Kong lies not in the number of shophouses, but in how the entire space is planned, developed, and operated according to a consistent concept. Accordingly, T&T Retail will play a key role in guiding the overall development space, approving the product structure, brand image, operating standards, and marketing plan, ensuring consistency throughout the project's development. The two parties will also collaborate on landscaping, outdoor infrastructure, communication activities, and destination promotion, aiming to create a vibrant commercial and service space that offers a unique experience for residents and visitors.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Do Vinh Quang, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Deputy General Director of T&T Group, and Chairman and General Director of T&T Retail Co., Ltd., emphasized: "A city only truly has vitality when residents have reasons to stay, tourists have reasons to visit, and economic activities continue even after the city lights up. In that development picture, commerce and services are not just supplementary amenities but are key factors contributing to the sustainable vitality of the entire city."
According to Mr. Do Vinh Quang, the collaborative development of Little Hong Kong is the next step in realizing the integrated commercial and service model at T&T City Millennia. In the future, T&T Retail and Cao Nguyen Thinh Vuong Joint Stock Company will continue to coordinate the implementation of projects according to the roadmap, aiming to make Little Hong Kong a new highlight for commerce, entertainment, and experiences in the megacity.
From product development to creating urban "destination" ecosystems.
Little Hong Kong is more than just a new commercial and entertainment complex of T&T City Millennia. More than that, the project reflects how T&T Retail and T&T Group are approaching a trend shaping the development of many megacities around the world. Instead of simply building urban areas with complete infrastructure and housing products, developers are increasingly focusing on creating "destinations" that can attract people, create experiences, and sustain the long-term vitality of the entire urban area – a trend already present in many successful cities worldwide.
This was also the view shared by Mr. Do Vinh Quang at the signing ceremony: "We are not aiming to develop urban areas solely for residential purposes, but rather to create a destination that brings together living, cultural, commercial, and community values, where residents can live, work, study, play, and enjoy life in a sustainable development space."
This shift stems from a reality: as planning, infrastructure, and product quality gradually become common standards, the competitive advantage of an urban area no longer lies solely in what is built, but also in how that space is managed and embraced by the community. Pedestrian streets, commercial and entertainment complexes, cultural spaces, and nighttime economic activities are therefore no longer supplementary amenities, but become factors that create pedestrian traffic, boost commercial and service activities, and contribute to increasing the value of the entire project.
Little Hong Kong was developed based on that very concept. Instead of exploiting the rows of shophouses as individual business spaces, T&T Retail chose to plan and operate the entire area as a unified commercial and entertainment complex, where architecture, retail, food, entertainment, culture, and experiential activities are connected within a single ecosystem. This is not only a way to create a commercial and service complex with its own identity, but also a solution to form a stable flow of customers, extend their length of stay, and increase the attractiveness of the entire T&T City Millennia.
This approach also reflects the philosophy of "World Excellence, Vietnamese Identity" that T&T Group steadfastly pursues. Little Hong Kong does not aim to copy forms or architecture, but rather to selectively create a space that suits the culture, needs, and lifestyle of Vietnamese people.
