September 9, 2024, People's Committee of Phuc Tho district (Hanoi city) and the Group T&T Group officially started the project to build technical infrastructure for Nam Phuc Tho Industrial Cluster (CCN) - Phase 1. This is an event to celebrate the anniversary of 70 the year of Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024), contributing to concretizing the orientations of the Industrial Cluster Development Plan in the city until 2020, with a view to 2030.

Nam Phuc Tho Industrial Park - Phase 1 was established under Decision No. 2800/QD-UBND dated June 26, 2020 of Hanoi People's Committee, with the orientation of becoming a multi-industry industrial cluster, mainly clean industry, medium and small scale, with advanced high-tech nature, high added value, participating in the global value chain and causing little pollution. According to the plan, the project has a scale of 41,7 hectares, implemented in Tam Hiep commune and Ngoc Tao commune, Phuc Tho district, Hanoi city. The main items of the project include: leveling; traffic system; rainwater collection and drainage system; wastewater collection and drainage system; power supply system; water supply system; communication system; trees; centralized wastewater treatment plant. In addition, the architectural space and landscape of the project are arranged to ensure compliance with standards; Flexible internal traffic network design helps vehicles move easily and conveniently.

With a prime location on Highway 32, easily connecting to the center of Hanoi and neighboring districts, Nam Phuc Tho Industrial Park - Phase 1 will contribute to promoting and expanding opportunities for inter-regional economic cooperation as well as exploiting the potential and advantages of the locality. Not stopping there, the project also becomes an important link in the chain of projects of T&T Group, to promote the combined "internal strength", creating motivation to participate in the country's economic development. It is known that ICD Logistics Center Vinh Phuc – the first “super port” in the ASEAN smart logistics network, and one of the largest logistics centers in the North invested and built by the joint venture T&T Group and YCH Group (Singapore) has completed and put into operation phase 1. The project has been making an important contribution to the transit of domestic goods, import and export goods, connecting industrial parks and industrial clusters by road, rail, waterway, and air in the Vietnam – China – ASEAN economic corridor. Therefore, together with the “super port” ICD Vinh Phuc, the project to build technical infrastructure of Nam Phuc Tho Industrial Park – Phase 1 of T&T Group will create a driving force to attract large domestic and foreign investors and enterprises to focus on production and business; help businesses exploit their strengths and take advantage of great benefits from logistics services, infrastructure, and logistics, opening up opportunities for businesses to participate in the global and ASEAN supply chain, while promoting the development of logistics services.

With the goal of "pioneering the development of clean industrial clusters", responding to the new trend in the development of industrial parks and industrial clusters in our country today, Nam Phuc Tho Industrial Park - Phase 1 aims to build a community of concentrated, green, and clean production enterprises with the environment. At the same time, the project will also create momentum for technological innovation and enhance competitiveness for domestic enterprises; attract many domestic and foreign enterprises, gradually promote the process of international economic integration of Vietnam as well as increase state budget revenue. The project, when put into operation, will create land for concentrated industrial production, solve jobs for workers, thereby increasing income, stabilizing people's lives, ensuring social security.

Promote industrialization, reduce environmental pollution

According to Mr. Nguyen Dinh Son, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Phuc Tho district, currently Tam Hiep and Ngoc Tao communes have about more than 1.200 establishments and households producing and trading in garments, carpentry, mechanics and some other manufacturing industries. “The Nam Phuc Tho Industrial Park Project - Phase 1 has been started and put into operation, contributing to the strong development of industry and services in the district in general and focusing on Ngoc Tao, Tam Hiep communes and neighboring communes; solving the need for production space; concentrating production activities in craft villages and residential areas, ensuring the development of local industry and overcoming environmental pollution in people's lives”, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Son emphasized.

On behalf of the leaders of Hanoi city, Mr. Nguyen Manh Quyen, member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee acknowledged and commended the efforts of the Party Committee, government and people of Phuc Tho district, the city's departments, branches and sectors, especially T&T Group - the project investor and households with cultivated land who supported the site clearance work to start the project. With the important meaning that the project was chosen by the city to start construction to celebrate the anniversary of 70 the year of Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024), and at the same time mark Phuc Tho district becoming the first district in the city to complete the groundbreaking work of the entire 6/6 industrial cluster that has been established, the Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee also requested T&T Group to focus all resources to quickly complete the investment in building the technical infrastructure of the industrial cluster, attract secondary investors to production and business to maximize the effectiveness of the project, contributing to the economic and social development of Phuc Tho district in particular and Hanoi city in general.

Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the project investor, Mr. Mai Xuan Son, General Director of T&T Group affirmed: “With the prestige, experience and potential of a leading multi-industry private economic group in Vietnam; having developed many large real estate projects across the country, diverse in types, including industrial real estate, T&T Group commits to focus all resources to implement construction to ensure safety, quality and complete on schedule to put the project into operation in the month of June 2026”.

Currently, Hanoi is not only the “destination” of many large enterprises across the country but also one of the attractive cities for foreign investors. Along with the industrial parks and industrial clusters that have come into operation, the investment in the construction of technical infrastructure of Nam Phuc Tho Industrial Park - Phase 1 will also contribute positively to the socio-economic development of the capital, gradually shifting the economic structure towards industrialization and modernization.
