When receiving the invitation from Russian President Vladimir Putin, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and the High Representative Delegation of Vietnam paid an official visit to the Russian Federation on September 5th - September 8th, 2018. Leaders of T&T Group are honored to accompany General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong during this visit. 

During the visit on September 8th, 2018 in Moscow (Russian Federation), in front of the presence of Mr. Tran Tuan Anh - Vietnam's Minister of Industry and Trade , Mr. Sergey Shukhno - Integration Development Director of Eurasian Business Union, and Mr. Victor Kambolov - President of the Business Federation of Eurasian Business Union (EABU), T&T Group signed the strategic partnership with three major partners in Russia which are Eurasia Business  Union (EABU), Food City (Interprod EXPO) and Demi-Group.

To be more specific, T&T Group and the Business Federation of Eurasian Business Union (EABU) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation. Accordingly, T&T Group will cooperate with EABU to carry out projects and business activities in countries which belongs to Eurasian Business Union and other countries being in a partnership with EABU (about 45 countries). At the same time, the two parties will work together to invest in building Food City model in Vietnam. Through Saigon - Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SHB), T&T Group will support and sponsor capital and payment methods for cooperation activities between Vietnamese enterprises and members of EABU.

Then, T&T Group signed the strategic partnership with Demi-Group to do business in the field of the frozen pangasius. Accordingly, Demi-Group will purchase 1,000 tons of catfish fillet and pangasius per month from T&T Group. Demi-Group will also assist T & T Group in processing quota procedures for pangasius products into the Russian market.

On the same day, T&T Group and Food City (Interprod EXPO) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation involving the investment in building the Food City model as well as the development of the international project "INTERPROD EXPO" in Vietnam. Highly appreciating the prestige and potential of T & T Group, Food City hopes that through this cooperation signing ceremony, T&T Group will create the opportunity to establish a long-term cooperation relationship with T&T Group in the upcoming time.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Leaders of T&T Group confirmed that the signing of Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between T&T Group and three major partners of the Russian Federation not only opens new cooperation opportunities of  T&T Group in the Eastern European market in particular and in the international market in general, but also confirms the position of T&T Group in the international market when it sequently becomes the strategic partner of the overseas big economic groups. The comprehensive cooperation between the T&T Group and Business Federation of Eurasia Business Union (EABU), Food City (Interprod EXPO), Demi-Group also contributes to create more investment opportunities in Vietnam for the world's leading economic groups and promote cooperation domestically and internationally for the key economic projects of Vietnam.

Prior to that, in August 2015, T&T Group was granted an investment certificate in the Russian Federation market. With a total investment amount of USD 25 million, T&T Group in the Russian Federation operated in the field of exporting consumer goods, handicrafts, agricultural products, forestry products, seafood and real estate.

General Secretary Mr. Nguyen Phu Trong and President of the Russian Federation Mr. Vladimir Putin witnessed the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on  Investment Cooperation between Mr. Do Quang Hien, SHB's Chairman of the Board of Directors and Mr. Denis Ivanov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of IBEC.

Also during this official visit to the Russian Federation of General Secretary Mr. Nguyen Phu Trong on the afternoon of September 6th, 2018  in the city of Sochi (Russia Federation), under the witness of General Secretary Mr. Nguyen Phu Trong and the Russian President Mr. Vladimir Putin, Saigon - Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SHB) exchanged a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement with the International Investment Bank (IIB) and the Framework Credit Agreement with the International Bank for Economic Cooperation (IBEC).
