In the afternoon of September 4th, 2018, Politburo member, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Pham Binh Minh met with representatives of businesses sponsoring the World Economic Forum on ASEAN 2018 (WEF ASEAN) which was held in Hanoi from September 11st to September 13rd, 2018. T&T Group was honored to be one of the eight sponsors for this conference as a Special Sponsor. 

Speaking at the meeting, on behalf of the Government, Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Pham Binh Minh highly appreciated and welcomed the contribution along with the companion of Vietnamese enterprises in organizing WEF ASEAN 2018 - the most important multilateral foreign event throughout 2018. Furthermore, WEF ASEAN 2018 is the largest forum attended by leaders inside and outside the region and international organizations with the participation of representatives of nearly top 1,000 enterprises in the world, which exceeded the WEF's initial estimate of 800. It means that this number almost doubles that of WEF's regional conferences during the past period.

Emphasizing WEF forums as the one about ideas and policy directions, Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Pham Binh Minh said that this is a good opportunity for Vietnamese businesses to connect and share ideas with the world's leading corporations and enterprises. Especially, within the framework of WEF ASEAN 2018, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) will host the Vietnam Business Summit with the theme "Vietnam: Trusted Partner - Creative Connection" with over 1,000 delegates of huge international and domestic corporations. Organizing WEF ASEAN 2018 is an evidence for the efforts to build the Government with a view to accompanying businesses to help them take advantage of opportunities for sustainable development.
