On December 12, in Hanoi, T&T Aviation Transport and Trading Joint Stock Company (T&T Airlines), T&T Super Port and International Logistics Center Company Limited (T&T SuperPort), BVIM Fund Management Joint Stock Company and Vietravel Group Joint Stock Company successfully signed a contract to transfer shares at Vietravel Airlines.

Thus, the list of shareholders of Vietravel Airlines up to this point includes: Vietravel Group, Vietnam Transport Marketing and Tourism Joint Stock Company - Vietravel, T&T Airlines, T&T SuperPort, BVIM Fund and 2 individual shareholders, Mr. Tran Doan The Duy and Mr. Doan Hai Dang.

According to Mr. Nguyen Quoc Ky, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietravel Airlines, the participation of three strategic shareholders, T&T Airlines, T&T SuperPort and BVIM Fund, will open up new opportunities for Vietravel Airlines to enhance competitiveness, expand its flight network and improve service quality.

This not only contributes to meeting the increasing travel needs of passengers but also affirms the position of Vietravel Airlines - the first tourism airline in Vietnam in the domestic and international aviation market.

“The transfer of these shares is also an important step in realizing the investment and development plan of Vietravel Airlines. With the support of new shareholders, we believe in the bright and sustainable future of Vietravel Airlines in the coming time,” Mr. Nguyen Quoc Ky affirmed.

According to Mr. Do Quang Hien, Executive Chairman of T&T Group, becoming a strategic shareholder of Vietravel Airlines is an important milestone for T&T Airlines, T&T SuperPort in particular and T&T Group in general in the new development stage of the enterprise.

This cooperation and investment not only brings strong resources and many new values ​​and opportunities for Vietravel Airlines in improving quality and competitiveness, but also promotes the development of the transportation, aviation and tourism industries; creates a driving force for economic growth; and at the same time makes an important contribution to enhancing the position and prestige of Vietnam in the international arena.

Vietravel Airlines will become an important link in the chain of infrastructure - logistics - aviation projects that have been and are being implemented by T&T Group.

Together with Quang Ninh Port, Quang Tri Airport, Vietnam's logistics "super port" SuperPort in Vinh Phuc, Nam Phuc Tho Industrial Cluster, the aviation - logistics - service - trade - airport urban complex in Quang Tri and now the important piece - Vietravel Airlines, T&T Group is contributing to promoting the development of multimodal transport and creating new breakthroughs for Vietnam's logistics industry.

The project to establish Vietravel Airlines was approved by the Government with a total investment capital of VND 700 billion in April 2020, with the main shareholder being Vietnam Tourism and Transport Marketing Joint Stock Company (holding 100% of the charter capital). By November 2024, Vietravel Airlines was officially approved to increase its charter capital to VND 1,300 billion.

After nearly 4 years of operation, Vietravel Airlines has successfully connected two major centers, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, to domestic and international tourist cities such as: Da Nang, Da Lat, Quy Nhon, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, Hue and Bangkok (Thailand).

Vietravel Airlines has also successfully coordinated with a number of tourist cities in the Asian region to promote bilateral tourism through the implementation of connecting charter flights: Ho Chi Minh City/Da Nang – Kawaga/Fukushima (Japan), Phu Quoc – Taipei (Taiwan), Hanoi – Sanya (China), Nha Trang – Daegu/Muan (Korea) marking the journey of efforts to expand the international flight network to major tourist markets of Vietnam…
