The Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of T&T Group has been elected as a representative to the Hanoi City People's Council.
On March 20th, the Hanoi City Election Committee issued Resolution 79/NQ-UBBC, officially announcing the election results and the list of 125 elected representatives to the Hanoi City People's Council, 17th term, 2026-2031.
The entire city has 6,015,165 registered voters, of which 5,989,283 participated in the election, achieving a turnout rate of 99.57%. No area had a voter turnout rate below 50%; with 2,669 out of 4,098 areas achieving 100% voter participation. Security, traffic management, and communication were implemented comprehensively, with no complex situations arising.
As a result, the city elected all 32 National Assembly delegates, all 125 City People's Council delegates, and basically completed the election of commune-level People's Council delegates, ensuring the correct structure and composition as prescribed; no units had to hold re-elections or additional elections.
Notably, Vice Chairman Do Vinh Quang was elected as a representative to the Hanoi City People's Council in electoral district No. 30. In this district, out of a total of 7 candidates, voters elected 4 representatives to the Hanoi City People's Council.
This result reflects the voters' trust in the competence, leadership, and sense of responsibility of Vice Chairman Do Vinh Quang during his candidacy. At the same time, it is also an honor and a source of pride for T&T Group , further motivating the Group to continue contributing to the overall development of the capital and the country.
Previously, in his action plan when running for election as a representative to the Hanoi City People's Council, Vice Chairman Do Vinh Quang affirmed that he would fully fulfill the responsibilities of an elected representative, attend sessions, actively participate in discussions and voting, and exercise his right to supervise and question as prescribed.
He also pledged that the opinions and suggestions expressed would stem from the practical realities of voters' lives; and that he would maintain close contact with the people, listening to and honestly and promptly reflecting issues related to infrastructure, the environment, and livelihoods.
Regarding development orientation, Vice Chairman Do Vinh Quang stated that electoral unit No. 30, comprising Quang Minh commune, has significant potential in industry, services, and agriculture. However, development needs to be linked to sustainability, environmental control, productivity improvement, and the promotion of science and technology application and digital transformation.
In his capacity as Vice President of the Hanoi Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise Association, he stated that he will participate in proposing mechanisms to support businesses, promote participation in supply chains, and encourage the development of green industrial clusters linked to job creation in the locality.
Notably, drawing on his practical experience in managing the Hanoi Football Club, he stated that he will coordinate the implementation of school football programs in a systematic manner with a clear roadmap; fostering collaboration between schools, families, and professional organizations to identify and train talent locally. At the same time, he also aims to mobilize social resources to improve sports facilities, create a healthy training environment for young people, and contribute to the formation of discipline, willpower, and teamwork.
In parallel, Vice Chairman Do Vinh Quang pledged to continue promoting social welfare activities, while also proposing solutions to improve the investment environment and create favorable conditions for businesses to develop, thereby making a positive contribution to the socio-economic development of Hanoi.
