Hanoi FC announces adidas partnership and launches 2026/27 season
adidas and Hanoi FC begin a new chapter together
Hanoi, August 2026 – adidas Vietnam has officially announced its partnership with Hanoi Football Club, marking the first time the global sports brand has become an official partner of a professional football club in Vietnam.
This milestone not only reaffirms adidas’s commitment to supporting the development of Vietnamese football but also opens a new chapter in connecting sport, culture and the fan community.

The partnership between adidas and Hanoi FC is founded on shared values: the ambition to succeed, a spirit of innovation and a belief in the power of sport to bring people together.
For adidas, this represents the next step in its journey alongside the Vietnamese football ecosystem, bringing international standards closer to fans across the country. Hanoi FC is also the first professional football club in Vietnam to establish an official partnership with adidas, one of the world’s leading sportswear brands.
Speaking at the event, a representative of adidas Vietnam said: “Our partnership with Hanoi FC marks the beginning of a journey to help advance football culture in Vietnam while creating meaningful experiences for the fan community. We believe Hanoi FC is the right partner to join adidas in writing the next chapter of Vietnamese football.”

The representative of Hanoi FC, meanwhile, said the adidas partnership held particular significance as the club celebrates its 20th anniversary:
“This is a milestone not only for Hanoi FC, as it marks the first time a football club in Vietnam has officially established an apparel sponsorship partnership with adidas. For us, this is far more than simply changing the brand featured on our kits. The partnership with adidas also reflects Hanoi FC’s ambition to progressively raise its professional standards—from its image, match and training apparel, and brand development to bringing official club merchandise closer to supporters.”

To mark the announcement, adidas and Hanoi FC also officially unveiled the club’s new-season kit collection. Inspired by Hanoi FC’s 20-year journey and its determination to move confidently into the next chapter, the collection carries the concept “HUYỀN THOẠI KHOÁC CHƯƠNG MỚI – LEGEND WEAR THE NEXT CHAPTER.”
The collection brings together the values that have shaped Hanoi FC’s identity and its enduring drive to move forward. A “legend” is created not only through achievements of the past but also through every new generation of players, supporters and chapters in the club’s journey.
The collection comprises three designs, each telling a distinct story and representing Hanoi FC’s past, present and future.
The Home Kit continues the club’s signature Royal Purple, celebrating the identity and pride of the capital’s football team. The Away Kit features a striking Victory Gold colourway, symbolizing the ambition to win and the determination to conquer new challenges. Meanwhile, the Pearl White Third Kit embraces a modern spirit, appealing to a new generation of supporters and the ways in which they express their passion for football in everyday life.

Extending beyond the pitch, the collection is also envisioned as part of a broader lifestyle, enabling supporters to express their pride in Hanoi FC in their own way. The shirt therefore represents more than the team on matchdays: it becomes a symbol of individuality, style and affection for football in the capital.
The partnership also marks the beginning of a series of initiatives designed to bring supporters closer to both the club and the brand. In the coming period, adidas and Hanoi FC will organize a range of community experiences, from events at Hang Day Stadium to activities across the adidas retail network.
Through these initiatives, adidas hopes to help foster a vibrant football community in which the sport extends beyond the 90 minutes on the pitch to become part of local culture, lifestyle and civic pride.
Hanoi FC ready for the 2026/2027 season
Alongside the announcement of its partnership with adidas, Hanoi FC held its 2026/27 season launch ceremony and expressed its appreciation to the partners and sponsors that have supported the capital club, including T&T Homes, Vinawind and Vietravel Airlines.
The ceremony offered the club an opportunity to introduce its new-season identity and squad while demonstrating its determination ahead of the new campaign.
Over two decades of formation and development, Hanoi FC has established a distinctive position in Vietnamese football, winning six V.League championships, three National Cups and five National Super Cups. These achievements are both a source of pride and a reminder of the increasingly high expectations facing the capital club as it begins the next stage of its journey.

Heading into the 2026/27 season, Hanoi FC has identified fighting spirit, discipline, unity and the ambition to win as the values that will guide the team throughout its campaign.
The club aims to compete among the leading teams and pursue the highest achievements in every competition it enters, while continuing to build a squad with depth and lasting competitiveness.
The 2026/27 season also marks the next stage in the club’s development under head coach Harry Kewell. Drawing on his experience as both a player and coach in international football, Kewell and his coaching staff have prepared carefully for the new campaign, focusing on developing the team’s style of play, increasing competition within the squad and achieving an effective balance between experience and youth.
Alongside its experienced players, Hanoi FC continues to place its trust in footballers developed through the club’s youth academy. Maintaining a high-quality pipeline of talent and creating opportunities for young players to develop in an elite football environment remain important foundations of the club’s long-term strategy.
The new season also provides Hanoi FC with another opportunity to strengthen its relationships with its partners, sponsors and supporter community, all of whom have been important sources of support throughout the club’s development.
The presence of adidas, together with Hanoi FC’s longstanding sponsors and partners, not only contributes to a solid foundation away from the pitch but also provides further motivation for the club to pursue increasingly high professional standards.
Expectations among supporters are particularly high for the 2026/27 season. For head coach Harry Kewell and his players, these expectations are not a source of pressure but a motivation to work harder in every match, deliver performances worthy of the supporters’ affection and compete for the highest honours in the new campaign.
