Businessman Do Quang Hien joins the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 11th term.
On the morning of May 13th, in Hanoi , at the closing session of the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2026-2031, 70 members of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 11th term, were officially introduced.
On behalf of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Ms. Ha Thi Nga, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Vice Chairwoman and General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 11th term, presented the report on the results of the first meeting of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 11th term, 2026-2031.
Accordingly, in accordance with the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the 11th Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front held its first conference to nominate 70 members to the Presidium of the 11th Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, including businessman Do Quang Hien.
On behalf of the Presidium, Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Mass Organizations, and Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 11th term, expressed her sincere gratitude to the Congress for its trust and confidence; and expressed her sincere thanks to the Party, the State, the people, and the soldiers nationwide for their continued attention and trust in the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

The inclusion of businessman Do Quang Hien in the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 11th term, further demonstrates the increasingly profound role of the private sector in social and community activities and in consolidating national unity. This is also a recognition of the responsible, dedicated, and persistent contributions of this businessman to the work of the Fatherland Front, as well as social welfare and community development activities over the years.
Businessman Do Quang Hien is currently the Founder and Executive Chairman of T&T Group; Chairman of the Board of Directors of SHB Bank; Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (VINASME); Chairman of the Hanoi Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (HANOISME), and also a member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front…
Having led and managed businesses for over three decades and actively participated in social organizations, businessman Do Quang Hien has made significant contributions to economic development, social welfare, and community activities. For these contributions, he has been honored with numerous prestigious titles and awards. Notably, Mr. Do Quang Hien is one of the few private sector entrepreneurs to have been awarded the First, Second, and Third Class Labor Orders by the Party and State for his outstanding achievements in production and business, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.
At the same time, he was also the only businessman in the finance and banking sector to be awarded the Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards (APEA) 2017 by the non-governmental organization Enterprise Asia – one of Asia's leading prestigious awards for the business community.
As a member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, businessman Do Quang Hien has made many positive contributions to the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and localities nationwide, especially in social welfare work, supporting poor households and families in difficult circumstances, overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and epidemics, caring for Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, and looking after vulnerable groups; at the same time, spreading the spirit of social responsibility, inspiring the companionship and joint efforts of the business community in the development of the country and the community.
